School districts and non-profits will gain access to mini-grants to help launch or support programs.

Minneapolis, Minnesota — Nov. 29, 2022 — BenchK12, an education technology start-up that is building software-as-a-service to transform teacher credentialing processes in the K12 sector, is now partnering with the American Association for Employment in Education (AAEE) to help improve the teacher pipeline. 

As the exclusive sponsor of the AAEE’s pipeline mini-grant program, BenchK12 is excited to team up with a notable partner in education to support increasing interest in the teaching profession; increasing the supply of teachers; and increasing the diversity of teachers in schools nationwide. AAEE is a leading organization connecting higher education professionals with school systems across America and abroad through exclusive resources and networking opportunities. 

The partnership provides school districts, and, for the first time, non-profit organizations with access to mini-grants to help launch or fund programs that aim to attract and support more individuals into teaching careers. This is a critical contribution in light of the ongoing nationwide teacher shortages.

The 2022-2023 pipeline mini-grant program launches on November 29, 2022. Four grants valued at $500 each are available to school districts, while two grants of the same amount are available for the first time to non-profit entities addressing issues related to the scope of the program.
